Mortheon
Rise from an ordinary mortal to a god in an endless world of living people.
About the game
You start as nobody in particular. Around you, every villager eats, works, trades, loves, feuds, builds homes and founds towns. They remember what you did and tell others about it. The player and the people of the world are the same kind of being, and only the mind behind them differs.
Climb toward godhood by one of four paths: worship, magic, cultivation or spirits. Each has its own ranks, trials and ending. Knowledge lives in people and books rather than a tech tree, so you learn recipes, spells and techniques from masters, from books or by your own research, and you can teach them to others.
The world is endless and generated as you explore, with forests, swamps, deserts and mountains, rivers and lakes, villages with their own history, and dungeons, caves and ruins to discover. Build tile by tile, own land and businesses, and found your own settlement or faction.
Features
A world that lives
Hundreds of simulated people with needs, jobs, families, ambitions and memories. Everything that changes in the world was done by someone.
Four paths to godhood
Gather worshippers, master magic, cultivate qi or bond with spirits. Each ladder has its own ranks, risks and ascension.
Endless generated world
Regions are generated as you explore, each with its own terrain, settlements, history, dungeons and ruins.
Knowledge is local
People act on what they've seen, heard and remember. Reputation, prices and crimes spread from person to person.
Build, own and trade
Build tile by tile, run a business and set your own prices. There is no global market, only the people in it.
Rivals who ascend
You aren't the only one with divine ambitions. Powerful people can climb the same ladders, and some of them will.
