Mortheon
Privacy Policy
Last updated
This Privacy Policy explains how Mortheon (the "Game") handles information. The Game is developed and published by Rigelion, an independent game developer based in Baku, Azerbaijan ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions, write to us at support@rigelion.com.
The short version
Mortheon is a single-player game that runs on your computer. It doesn't require an account, doesn't show ads, doesn't include analytics or tracking, and doesn't send your personal information to us.
Information the Game collects
None. The Game doesn't collect, store or send personal information to us or to any third party. We have not enabled analytics, crash reporting, advertising or any other online services in the Game.
Data stored on your computer
Your worlds, save files, mods and settings are stored locally on your computer, in your user folder. They never leave your computer unless you copy them yourself, or your store's cloud save feature syncs them (see below). They are kept when you uninstall the Game. To delete them, remove the Game's folder:
- Windows:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Mortheon\Mortheon - macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/Mortheon/Mortheon
The store you get the Game from
If you buy or download the Game through a digital store or launcher (for example Steam or itch.io), that store handles your account, payment and download under its own privacy policy. Some stores also offer optional features such as cloud save sync, achievements or playtime tracking, which they provide and control. We may receive aggregated, non-identifying sales and usage reports from the store, such as the number of copies sold in each country.
When you contact us
If you email us, for example to report a bug or ask a question, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message, such as a description, screenshots or save files you choose to attach. We use this only to reply to you and to fix the problem, and we delete it once it's no longer needed. We don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13, and because it collects no personal information, it doesn't knowingly collect any from children. If a child has emailed us and you would like that correspondence deleted, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Because the Game doesn't collect personal information, there is usually nothing we hold about you. If you've emailed us, you can ask us to access, correct or delete that correspondence at any time by writing to support@rigelion.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Future changes
Mortheon is in active development. If a future version adds features that work online, such as optional crash reports, cloud saves or multiplayer, we'll update this policy before that version is released, explain exactly what is collected, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The date at the top of this page shows when this policy last changed.
